Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026. Rails of Eternity works offline and has no account. It sends anonymous gameplay metrics only if you agree, and you can turn them off and erase that data at any time. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
The game
- No account, no login, no required network. The whole game works without a connection. Saves, settings and progress never leave your device.
- Saves and settings stay on your device only, in the app's data folder. Uninstalling the game deletes everything.
- Anonymous metrics, only if you agree. On first launch the game asks whether it may send usage data; the default is not to. With your yes, it sends: missions played and their results, the locomotive and cars used, depot stops (fuel, repairs and credits spent), station purchases, shots and hits per weapon, screens viewed and buttons pressed, where the screen was touched during a mission (on a low-resolution grid), session length, and the device model, processor, graphics chip, memory, screen and frame rate. The data carries a random number created on the device — no name, email, account, location or advertising identifier — and our server does not store IP addresses.
- What it is for and where it lives. Only to balance the game, find crashes and improve performance. It is stored on Google Cloud (BigQuery, United States), under RRB Labs's responsibility, for up to 24 months. It is not sold, shared or used for advertising or profiling. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); Brazil's LGPD Art. 7, I).
- Turning it off and erasing it. In Settings → Game, "Send anonymous gameplay data" turns sending on and off; "Erase data already sent" asks the server to delete everything this device sent and switches to a new number.
- Full-game purchase. The single purchase is processed by your device's store (Google Play or the App Store). The game never sees your payment method, name or address; it receives from the store only the confirmation that the product was bought and keeps that confirmation on the device to unlock the content offline. Restore purchase asks the same store.
- No ads, no tracking. The game includes no ad networks, third-party analytics tools or advertising identifiers.
- Children. Metrics are optional, anonymous and used only to improve the game, never for advertising or profiling. A parent or guardian can turn them off and erase them in Settings.
Rails of Eternity: Cargo
- No account, no login, no network. Rails of Eternity: Cargo works fully offline; the Android version does not even ask for internet access.
- No metrics. It sends no gameplay, usage or crash data anywhere.
- Saves and settings stay on your device only, in the app's data folder. Uninstalling the game deletes everything.
- Purchases inside the game, when offered, are processed by your device's store (Google Play or the App Store). The game never sees your payment details.
- No ads, no tracking. No ad networks, third-party analytics tools or advertising identifiers.
This website
- It is a static site. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics or third-party scripts.
- The only thing stored in your browser is the language you pick, in localStorage, so the home page can send you to it next time. You can clear it at any time.
- The hosting provider (Firebase Hosting, Google) keeps standard server logs for security and abuse prevention.
